REV. SHARPTON & NAN TO SIGN UP “FREEDOM WALKERS” TO GO TO JAIL IF THE LAW GOES INTO EFFECT
WHO:
Reverend Al Sharpton, President of National Action Network, Supervisor Mary Rose Wilcox, and other leaders, activists, clergy and representatives from over 30 community groups
WHAT:
Church Rally, Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church, 1401 E. Jefferson
Please note: After the rally at the church, Rev. Sharpton will lead a delegation of officials, clergy, activists and community members from Pilgrims Rest on Jefferson one block North to Washington, West on Washington to 17th Avenue. The State Capitol is 1700 West Washington
WHEN:
Wednesday, May 5, 2010 – 6:00 p.m. rally starts. The march will commence afterwards around 8:00 p.m.
