Reception will highlight women who are committed to fighting injustice during the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference
(NEW YORK, NY) – The National Action Network (NAN) will host its annual Action & Authority Reception Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at the Human Rights Campaign headquarters in Washington, DC. The event, which coincides with the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference, will honor women who have made meaningful contributions to the ongoing battle against injustice and inequality. Hosted by NAN President and Founder Rev. Al Sharpton and NAN’s Executive Director Janaye Ingram, the annual event will feature leading women in politics, human rights and social justice.
