Noted Civil Rights Leader Rev. Al Sharpton, AFSCME Secretary-Treasurer Lee A. Saunders, AFT President Randi Weingarten in Toledo March 8

Toledo, OH – National civil rights activist and leader, the Rev. Al Sharpton, Lee A. Saunders, Secretary-Treasurer of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, and Randi Weingarten, President of the American Federation of Teachers, will be in Toledo on Tuesday, March 8 to speak out against the assault on public services, including such measures as SB 5 and efforts supported by Gov. John Kasich to undermine working families and public workers.


Rev. Sharpton and Saunders, a Cleveland native who was elected AFSCME Secretary-Treasurer in July 2010, are travelling together to different cities and states across the country to fight against the coordinated attack on public services.
