NAN NORTHEAST REGIONAL DIRECTOR MINISTER KIRSTEN JOHN FOY TO HOLD PRESS CONFERENCE DENOUNCING ROBERT E. LEE STREET AND CONFEDERATE FLAG PAINTING IN NEW YORK STATE CAPITOL BUILDING

NEW YORK – Tomorrow NAN Northeast Regional Director Minister Kirsten John Foy will hold a press conference to denounce Robert E. Lee Street and the recent discovery of a Confederate Flag painting on the ceiling of the second floor of the New York State Capitol waiting room in the Governor’s office.

In addition to the press conference, NAN president and founder Rev. Al Sharpton will lead a vigil on Robert E. Lee Street with additional NAN members on Saturday, June 27th. More details regarding the vigil will be released shortly.

WHO: Minister Kirsten John Foy, Northeast Regional Director and other NAN leaders and Clergy.
