BACKGROUND:
Reynaldo Cuevas was working at a deli on Franklin Avenue in the Bronx, north of Manhattan, when two gunmen took him and his boss as hostages last month. At some point the two gunmen flee. Mr. Cuevas and his boss escaped and ran out of the store. Outside, a cop was seen pointing his gun, according to footage of a security camera. Mr. Cuevas encountered the police officer. In a matter of seconds, Mr. Cuevas is seen laying on the floor bleeding from a wound. Mr. Cuevas was taken to a hospital nearby, where he died due to a wound on his arm.
