In An Appeal To Moral Values, Rev. Al Sharpton Appeals to the Shooter(s) of the 4-Yr-Old New Yorker To Turn Themselves In

Jul 24, 2012

July 24, 2012 (New York, NY)—Rev. Al Sharpton, President of National Action Network (NAN), and one of the country’s foremost leaders for civil rights, is appealing for the shooter (s) of 4-year-old Lloyd Morgan to turn themselves in, and for the community at the Forest Houses on E. 165th Street to share any information they have about the shooter with the police. “We appeal to the person (s) that shot Lloyd Morgan on Sunday night to come forth and do what’s morally right for the mother and father of this young boy and turn themselves in” stated Rev. Sharpton.  His appeal comes a week after National Action Network called on New York Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly to hold a Summit with Rev. Sharpton and other leaders in the community, including some of the leaders that oppose the NYPD on stop-and-frisk policing, in light of the violence.
