Wed: NAN to Lead Faith Leaders, Community Activists & Elected Officials In a Rally to Support Newark’s Efforts to Address Water Filters & Distribution in the Wake of Lead Being Found in the Water
—NEW YORK (August 20, 2019) — National Action Network (NAN) will convene faith leaders, community activists, and social justice leaders on Wednesday to stand in solidarity with Newark Mayor Ras Baraka and city officials as they work to address residents’ concerns about the city’s water filtration systems. Participants will lead a rally and press conference to discuss the issue.
