New York City and State Elected Officials Set to Assist with NAN’s Annual Thanksgiving Dinner for New Yorkers on Thanksgiving Day

NEW YORK, NY (Wednesday, November 27, 2024) – Rev. Al Sharpton, President and Founder of the National Action Network (NAN), will host NAN’s community Thanksgiving Dinner at the House of Justice in Harlem this Thursday, November 28th. The annual tradition that benefits hundreds of underserved New Yorkers will welcome New York City and State officials include Mayor Eric Adams and Public Advocate Jumaane Williams.

“Thanksgiving is rooted in the idea of community, and our annual turkey giveaway and Harlem feast embody that tradition,” said Rev. Al Sharpton, Founder and President of National Action Network (NAN). “This year, NAN will once again bring this community together to join in a shared meal that celebrates our strength in Harlem, New York City, and across the nation.”

The community dinner follows a turkey distribution at the House of Justice yesterday, where Rev. Sharpton was joined by Lt. Governor Antonio Delgado and Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine, as well as NAN staff.
