NEW YORK (September 21, 2019) — Rev. Dr. Al Sharpton, the family of Eric Garner, New York State Senator Brian Benjamin and New York State Assemblyman Walter Mosely, will introduce the “Eric Garner Anti-Chokehold” Bill. This bill is a very significant piece of legislation that will ban the chokehold that led to the tragic death of Eric Garner by Daniel Pantaleo.
