Distribution of essential items comes days after NJ Governor outlines a six-step plan for the state to consider reopening

New York, NY (May 5, 2020) — Rev. Al Sharpton, President and Founder of National Action Network (NAN), alongside New Jersey First Lady Tammy Murphy and Pastor Steffie Bartley, the head of NAN Newark Tech World & NAN’s NE Regional Director, will distribute meals and masks to help Newark’s most vulnerable residents.
