Vice President to Discuss Recently Announced Multi-State Economic Tour on Opportunities for Black Americans

New York, New York (April 26, 2024) – Rev. Al Sharpton, Founder and President of the National Action Network (NAN), will welcome Vice President Kamala Harris as a phone in guest on Keepin It Real today at 3 p.m. ET. This collaboration comes at a pivotal time as the nation grapples with unprecedented challenges to voting rights, diversity, equity, and inclusion, particularly in the wake of this year’s election.

Following her keynote address at last year’s NAN Convention, Vice President Harris has stood alongside the National Action Network to protect civil rights, condemning recent Supreme Court actions threatening reproductive healthcare, affirmative action, and Black communities. The Vice President will discuss her recently announced Economic Opportunity Tour, which will kick off in Atlanta, followed by a stop in Detroit.
