Greater Sacramento NAACP Honors
Dr. Tecoy Porter with Faith Based Community Leadership Award
On Good Friday, Dr. Tecoy Porter, President of NAN Sacramento, was recognized by the Greater Sacramento NAACP with the Faith-Based Communities Leadership Award during their 42nd Annual Prayer Breakfast. He was happy to be accompanied to the breakfast by his son, Kamarion Porter, and members of his Genesis Church congregation and NAN Sacramento. The award inscription reads: “The Greater Sacramento NAACP Branch celebrates your significant contributions to the spiritual, social, and scholastic achievements of the Sacramento Region’s Black Community. In times of great need, you were there to lead and support.”
