TV ONE’S INAUGURAL BROADCAST OF THE 2015 TRIUMPH AWARDS REACHED 1.7 MILLION VIEWERS P2+

SILVER SPRING, MD, October 8, 2015 – TV One announced today that The 2015 Triumph Awards premiere reached 1.7 Million viewers P2+. Additionally, the television debut was a Top 3 Ad-supported Cable Entertainment Telecast in Prime among Black Key Demos: W25-54 (2.42, 137K), P25-54 (1.97, 194K), W18-49 (1.56, 96K) and P18-49 (1.09, 118K).

“As TV One continues to expand its offering of original programming specials, we are overwhelmed by the viewer response to the premiere airing of The 2015 Triumph Awards,” said Brad Seigel, President of TV One. “As broadcast partners for this awards show, it was an honor to launch this blossoming production relationship by delivering an engaging night of celebration honoring individuals for their philanthropic contributions and professional accomplishments.”

The Triumph Awards are executive produced by Bart Phillips of Sunseeker Entertainment and Christina Norman of Gemini Entertainment. Janaye Ingram is Executive Director of National Action Network. Craig Henry is Executive in Charge of Production and D’Angela Proctor is Head of Original Programming and Production for TV One.
