New York, NY (March 7, 2022) – On Tuesday, March 8th at 9 a.m. (CST) Rev. Al Sharpton, President of National Action Network (NAN), will lead the 2^nd day of the re-enactment of the Selma to Montgomery marches that were held in 1965 along the 54-mile highway from Selma, Alabama to the state capital of Montgomery. The marched were organized by Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and others around the constitutional right to vote. Rev. Sharpton and NAN will be joined by civil rights Attorney Ben Crump, the mother of Ahmaud Arbery, Wanda Cooper Jones, and the brother of George Floyd, Philonise Floyd.
