WHAT:

Civil Rights leader Rev. Al Sharpton, members of the Texas Democratic delegation, and community leaders to host a press conference to decry the new state law that bans abortions after six weeks of pregnancy and to oppose the continued assault on voting rights. Republican Gov. Greg Abbott signed a bill that bans 24-hour, drive-thru voting, imposes new hurdles on mail-in ballots, and empowers partisan poll watchers. New restrictive voting measures signed into law this week will disproportionately restrict voting access for marginalized voters
