National Action Network Salutes NAN’s Washington, D.C. Bureau Chief Janaye Ingram For Graduating from the America’s Leaders of Change Fellowship Program

National Action Network (NAN) salutes NAN’s Washington, DC Bureau Chief, Janaye Ingram for graduating from America’s Leaders of Change (ALOC) fellowship program. America’s Leaders of Change program is a one year intensive executive leadership program developed and launched by National Urban Fellows that combines personal and professional development, enriched knowledge of public service leadership and capacity for life-long coaching and networking. The Program enhances and sustains leadership excellence for a diverse community of leaders from across the nation in the nonprofit, philanthropic and public sectors.

As Washington, DC Bureau Chief Ms. Ingram brings with her years of experience of working in communities of color.  Ms. Ingram has dedicated her life to building social justice and equality after growing up in one of the nation’s most dangerous cities, Camden, NJ. Her passion for creating community change has always encouraged her to remain involved.   She has worked with numerous organizations across the nation to improve the lives of others and has received many awards and recognition for her efforts including the coveted Women’s History Month Awards for Community Service given by the New Jersey State Assembly.  In 2004, she was named one of New Jersey’s 25 People to Watch by South Jersey Magazine and since then, has been featured in numerous publications, websites, and other media for her work in the community.
