NAN’s Annual Community Health Fair

{Manhattan, August 28, 2012} The National Action Network’s Health & Wellness Committee led by Rev. Al Sharpton will host its 2nd Annual Community Health on Saturday, September 8, 2012 from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. on West 143rd Street between Lenox and 5th Avenues (on the side street of Colonel Charles Young Park).

The health fair will offer activities and information for all members of the community, including: Free
Health Screenings: Asthma, Blood Pressure, Body Mass Index (BMI) Measurement, Cholesterol, Glucose,
Family Planning, HIV testing, Smoking Cessation, and Vision test.

In addition, the health fair will feature activities exclusively for children. Crowns, children’s ride, face painting, fee popcorn and ices.
