ON HIS NATIONALLY SYNDICATED RADIO SHOW “KEEPIN IT REAL WITH AL SHARPTON” REV. SHARPTON RESPONDS TO THE JUDGE REVOKING BOND FOR GEORGE ZIMMERMAN
—Friday, June 01, 2012 (New York, NY) – Today on his nationally syndicated radio show “Keepin it Real with Al Sharpton,” civil rights leader Rev. Al Sharpton, President of National Action Network (NAN), discussed the news that a Florida judge has revoked George Zimmerman’s bail because he misrepresented his financial status when his bond was set for $150000 in April.
According to Rev. Sharpton: “National Action Network and I requested that the Judge review the bail bond after it became very clear that George Zimmerman had raised money online. We joined with the family and others concerned about the fairness of proceedings in asking for a review and we take note that based upon the evidence, the Judge has made a fair-minded decision.”
Rev. Al Sharpton will discuss the ongoing case at NAN’s weekly live Saturday radio broadcast at the House of Justice in Harlem, Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 9:45 a.m. (106 West 145th Street @ Lenox/Harlem New York). The show can be heard on WLIB 1190 AM watched by live stream at www.nationalactionnetwork.net
