Statement from Reverend Al Sharpton and National Action Network On the Firing of Palm Beach County Police Officer Who Killed Corey Jones

NEW YORK – Rev. Al Sharpton, President and founder of National Action Network (NAN) and NAN released the following statement on a Palm Beach Police Officer who was fired after shooting and killing Corey Jones last month:

“The National Action Network applauds the firing of the officer who killed Corey Jones, Nouman Raja, from the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department. I spoke at Corey Jones’ funeral and all of NAN are committed to standing by the family in their quest for justice. This is one step in that direction.”
