We Celebrate the Life, Legacy, & Enduring Impact of Malcolm X

Today, we celebrate the life, legacy, and enduring impact of Malcolm X on what would have been his 101st birthday.

Malcolm X challenged America to confront injustice directly and reminded generations that education, truth, dignity, and self-determination are essential in the fight for freedom. His words and work continue to inspire movements for justice, accountability, and empowerment around the world.

We also honor the memory and enduring legacy of Dr. Betty Shabazz and the Shabazz family, whose strength, grace, and commitment to preserving that legacy continue to impact generations. Dr. Betty Shabazz provided guidance and wisdom to National Action Network Founder and President Rev. Al Sharpton for many years, while daughters Ilyasah Shabazz and Malaak Shabazz continue to work alongside NAN on important issues and initiatives to this day.
