TRAILER FOR REV. AL SHARPTON DOCUMENTARY LOUDMOUTH AIRS ON NY1
—Ad campaign launches ahead of December 9 theatrical release, including three New York City theaters
New York, NY (Wednesday, November 30, 2022) – The trailer for Loudmouth, the highly acclaimed documentary on the life and career of Rev. Al Sharpton, began airing on NY1 today as part of an ad campaign leading up to the film’s December 9th release, which will include three New York City theaters.
The Loudmouth trailer will air at various times over the next two and a half weeks, through Sunday, December 18th. To watch the full trailer, click here.
The ad campaign is part of growing momentum around the feature-length documentary, which was the closing film at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival. Loudmouth will screen in more than 50 theaters across over 20 cities starting next Friday. Those include the AMC Magic Johnson Harlem 9, AMC Bay Plaza, and Regal Union Square. Loudmouth tells the story of Rev. Sharpton’s rise from a boy preacher to a firebrand activist who called out racism in 1980s New York City. Through in-depth interviews with Sharpton and never-before-seen footage, the film explores how the media covered racially motivated murders, from Michael Griffith in 1986 through George Floyd in 2020.
