 “Rise up” Rally: National Action Network Louisville Kentucky State Chapter 

 Press Conference/Rally for Reparations and Voting Rights  

 

What: Louisville, Kentucky-National Action Network Louisville Kentucky State Chapter’s “Rise up” Rally for Reparations and Voting Rights.  The  purpose of the rally is to  respond to the enactment of a Reparations Resolution approved by the Metro Council’s Equity and Inclusion Committee. The Equity Inclusion committee’s resolution was approved out of committee last Thursday and is being presented to the Metro Council for approval. The rally also plans to address the significant issue of Voting Rights and the redistricting process of current voting districts in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the United States of America.

 

When: Thursday, Sept 23, 2021

 

Time: 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. EDT                               

Where: In front of the old Courthouse steps located at  527 West Jefferson Street, across from Jefferson Square Park, Louisville, Kentucky
