Activists & Community Leaders Gather for the Free Community Meal In-person for the First Time Since the Pandemic

New York, NY (November 24, 2022) – Rev. Al Sharpton, Founder and President of the National Action Network (NAN), will host several New York City and State elected officials as well as civil rights leaders at the House of Justice for the annual Thanksgiving celebration.

The occasion marks the first time since the pandemic that an in-person Thanksgiving meal will be served at the House of Justice. Over the past two years, Thanksgiving and Christmas meals were packaged to-go and distributed at the Harlem site. But with COVID rates declining, this will be an opportunity for the NAN community to sit down once again and mark the holidays together.
