Rev. Sharpton Applauds Sen. Kamala Harris’ Political Maturity and Readiness to Lead

(New York, NY) — The Rev. Al Sharpton weighs in on Joe Biden’s pick of Sen. Kamala Harris as his VP running mate, saying Sen. Harris is tough enough to handle the attacks that will come her way.

“She was the girl that was the victim of busing, but at the same time she had to deal with a policy that would work – and that is what you want in someone that leads, someone that can go for what they believe in but also correct themselves when they misstep.”
