REV. AL SHARPTON, NAN TO WELCOME NYC AND NYS ELECTED OFFICIALS INCLUDING PUBLIC ADVOCATE JUMANNE WILLIAMS TO CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS WITH ANNUAL COMMUNITY DINNER AND TOY GIVEAWAY AT HOUSE OF JUSTICE
—
NEW YORK, NY (December 22, 2025) — Rev. Al Sharpton, Founder and President of the National Action Network (NAN), will host New York City and State elected officials and community leaders at the House of Justice on Christmas Day for NAN’s Christmas Meal and Toy Giveaway. The annual event will mark the final major occasion at the House of Justice’s current location as NAN plans to announce a new Harlem headquarters next year.
The meal and toy distribution comes at a poignant time in which the safety net has been cut out from Black and Brown communities. This fall, NAN led the charge to preserve SNAP benefits amid the longest government shutdown in United States history. In November, Rev. Sharpton personally distributed turkeys to Harlemites ahead of Thanksgiving, when NAN distributed meals to thousands of New Yorkers
