National Action Network Senior Vice President Ebonie Riley Joins All Roads Lead South Voting Rights Mobilization Rally and March

May 20, 2026

National Action Network Senior Vice President Ebonie Riley joined leaders, organizers, clergy, and advocates in Montgomery, Alabama this weekend for the All Roads Lead South Voting Rights Mobilization Rally and March. NAN’s Alabama Chapter was also on the ground, alongside NAN staff members Trudy Grant and Deymen Byam, continuing the organization’s longstanding commitment to protecting voting rights and defending Black political power.

As attacks on voting rights continue following the Supreme Court’s decision weakening key protections under the Voting Rights Act, advocates from across the country gathered to confront ongoing efforts to dilute Black voting strength through redistricting and gerrymandering.

From Selma to Montgomery, the message remained clear that the fight for democracy and equal representation is far from over. During her remarks, Ebonie Riley also encouraged communities nationwide to join us for the March on Washington this August 28 in Washington, D.C.

Our voices, our votes, and our communities matter.
