NAN to Hold Satellite Marches in States with High Coronavirus Risk

On August 28th, 2020, tens of thousands of people plan to rally and march for police and prison reform — but they won’t all be marching on Washington. In an effort to carry out a productive but safe demonstration, NAN is working with states that have been labeled ‘high risk’ according to the DC health department and organizing satellite marches that will be held locally in lieu of traveling to D.C.

All are welcome to join this inter-generational day of action, but if you are from one of the ‘high risk’ states below, please march in solidarity by joining a local satellite march.

Together we will demonstrate our advocacy for comprehensive police accountability reform and will mobilize voters for the November elections.
