NAN to Hold Livestream Census Report with NYC Census Director Julie Menin

(New York, NY) — On Thursday, May 21st, Reverend Sharpton and NAN will hold a Livestream presentation regarding the 2020 Census. Julie Menin, the NYC Census Director will give a report on the current state of the census, statewide and nationally. The livestream will also feature opening remarks from Reverend Sharpton and NYS Assembly Majority Leader, Crystal-People Stokes.

This livestream is accordance with NAN’s mission to emphasize the political importance of being counted. The Census is a vital aspect of the American political system. It’s one of the first mandates of our constitution – that every 10 years, everyone in the nation has to be counted.
