DEAR NAN MEMBER,
Please join other grassroots organizations in advocating that Mayor Jim Kenney and the 17 members of Philadelphia City Council join NAN, Black Clergy and over 50 grassroots/community based organizations to support 100 million dollars be set aside in the upcoming Budget to end the senseless violence and Black Bloodletting in the streets of Philadelphia.
You said “what can I do”? You can call your City Council District Member, the 7 at-large members and the Mayor’s office and demand that the 100 million be approved to be disbursed to those doing the work, now in the Streets.
