Leading Civil Rights Leaders, Members of Congress, Demand Federal Action on Police Reform & Call for a National Day of Mourning
—(New York, NY) — Prompted by the deaths of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor, the leaders of the nation’s top civil rights and social justice organizations and several members of Congress have scheduled a media briefing to demand federal action to reform the nation’s police departments and to call for a national day of mourning.
