From Sacramento to the National Stage:
Justice in Action
The National Action Network Sacramento Chapter continues to make a powerful impact—locally and nationally. At the 2026 NAN National Convention in New York City, our chapter was proudly represented among leaders, advocates, and changemakers from across the country, engaging in critical conversations on civil rights, public policy, and community empowerment. We are especially honored to share that Dr. Tecoy Porter was recognized with the prestigious Justice Fighter of the Year (Western Region) Award, a testament to his unwavering leadership and NAN Sacramento’s commitment to advancing equity, justice, and opportunity.
Our delegation showed up strong—participating in high-level panels, building national partnerships, and bringing Sacramento’s voice to the forefront of the movement. This moment reflects not just recognition, but responsibility—fueling our continued work to build bridges, shape policy, and uplift our communities.
The work continues—and we’re just getting started.
