At the 2026 NAN National Convention in New York City, our chapter was proudly represented among leaders, advocates, and changemakers from across the country, engaging in critical conversations on civil rights, public policy, and community empowerment. We are especially honored to share that Dr. Tecoy Porter was recognized with the prestigious Justice Fighter of the Year (Western Region) Award, a testament to his unwavering leadership and NAN Sacramento’s commitment to advancing equity, justice, and opportunity.
