For Rev. Sharpton, NFL Apologies are Meaningless Until Colin Kaepernick is Rehired

(Houston, TX) — While delivering the eulogy at George Floyd’s funeral service, Reverend Sharpton criticized NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell’s apology to players regarding their right to peacefully protest.

Sharpton said rather than apologize, Goodell should rehire Colin Kaepernick, who is credited with beginning the movement of taking a knee during the national anthem.
