Rev. Shane Harris called to speak at the funeral of Deon Peterson who was shot and killed Halloween night 10/31/15 in City Heights/Mid City

Reverend Shane Harris and the National Action Network called upon by family of Deon Peterson who was fatally shot and killed on Halloween night 10/31/15. Th Reverend announced that he and the National Action Network will be launching a “Occupy the Corners” campaign against crime in our communities and the Reverend will make that announcement in his eulogy at the funeral and the partnering organizations working with the campaign. Also the family has requested that the Reverend speaks on the crime in the community and to make a call to “STOP THE VIOLENCE” in our communities!
