National Action Network San Diego Community Housing Forum

Good Evening, This is a reminder that tomorrow will be the first forum we hold on tenant rights and several to follow.The National Action Network San Diego is partnering with almost every district council member in San Diego to ensure we are dealing with the Civil Rights issue of Housing in our city. Join NAN and Council member David Alvarez on January 27th at 6:30 PM at the Historic Barrio CDC 2258 Island Ave, San Diego, CA 92102 for the first of a series of Housing Forum’s. Here you will learn: *How to Navigate through the Code Compliance department of the City as what they do. *How to deal with a slumlord or property owner who is abusing their power. *How to communicate with your council member’s office on these issues. *You will also get to ask city officials questions on issues on a city level concerning housing. *You will also learn briefly what the National Action Network is and how to get involved.
