**FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE**
NAN AND OVER 100 TENANTS AT THE VILLAGE APARTMENTS AT 7025 EASTMAN STREET IN SAN DIEGO TO HOLD A DAY OF ACTION FOR TENANT RIGHTS
San Diego has got to deal with the serious issue of housing
Wednesday April 27th, 2016
7025 Eastman St, San Diego, Ca, 92111
San Diego tenants again now are dealing with the civil and human rights issue of how tenants are treated. One hundred tenants from the village apartments in Linda Vista are tired of the property owners neglecting their issues of serious molding, broken windows, rat infestation, cockroaches, electrical wiring hanging out, and holes in the roof. These tenants are being unjustly treated and are going to speak up. Joined with tenants at the Village Apartments will be Reverend Shane Harris and the National Action Network, Center for Social Advocacy, and Legacy San Diego as they will join the tenants for a day of action calling on the property owner of the village apartments to take care of the tenants as well as speaking up about Mayor Kevin Faulconer’s irresponsible response to the issues of housing and a poor code compliance department in the city of San Diego.
