Noel Carter was beaten, kicked and tased by OPD officers who were moonlighting for the Venue 578 downtown.  Sadly, Carter is not Orlando’s first case of excessive force – there is a City of Orlando problem with excessive force and police brutality. The Orlando police brutality and excessive force video has now received over 5,500 views online. Yet State Attorney Jeff Ashton, who is busy running for re-election, appears to have made political deals with Mayor Buddy Dyer and the Orlando Police Department to charge Noel Carter, while not charging any officers involved.
