REV. AL SHARPTON TO HOST MAYOR ERIC ADAMS AT NAN HOUSE OF JUSTICE THIS SATURDAY
—Deliver Call for Black Leaders Across NYC to Unify in Addressing Public Safety
New York, NY (Friday, November 18, 2022) – Rev. Al Sharpton, Founder and President of the National Action Network (NAN), will welcome Mayor Eric Adams to the House of Justice in Harlem tomorrow, where he will address public safety in New York City. After the Mayor speaks, Rev. Sharpton will make an appeal to New York’s Black leaders to align and address an increase in crime, which impacts their communities the most. New York City’s overall crime index increased nearly 6% in October 2022, the most recent month of available data, when compared with the same time a year earlier.
