On August 28th, 2020, tens of thousands of people plan to rally and march for police and prison reform — but they won’t all be marching on Washington. In an effort to carry out a productive but safe demonstration, NAN is working with states that have been labeled ‘high risk’ according to the DC health department and organizing satellite marches that will be held locally in lieu of traveling to D.C.

The Montgomery Alabama March will be organized by the NAN Alabama Chapter.

All are welcome to join this inter-generational day of action. Together we will demonstrate our advocacy for comprehensive police accountability reform, the Census and will mobilize voters for the November elections.
