July 18, 2016, National Action Network Los Angeles hosted a Community Town Hall meeting on Gun Violence in Los Angeles.  Celebrity and TV host, Judge Greg Mathis was NAN LA Special Guest. Radio host personality and author, Dr. Earl Ofari Hutchinson served as the panel moderator. Panelist include; Elder Michael Cummings (NAN Watts) , Vicki Lindsey (Project Cry No More), Rev. Bridgette Burns(Cease Fire) and Officer Stinson Brown (LAPD).  Patrick McFarland from Assembly member Sebastian Ridley Thomas presented the organization with a policy update.

“Although California is leading the way nationally in terms of Gun control yet is a lot work must still be done to get our communities safe again.” Rev.
