NATIONAL ACTION NETWORK APPLAUDS THE DECISION BY THE SUSAN G. KOMEN BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION TO RESTORE FUNDING TO PLANNED PARENTHOOD

(New York, NY)—Tamika D. Mallory, National Executive Director of National Action Network (NAN), applauded the decision by the Susan G. Komen Foundation to restore funding to Planned Parenthood.

Earlier today, NAN announced it would increase efforts to hold the Foundation accountable if it did not reverse the decision to cut funding, but the reversal will allow middle class and low income women to continue to access potentially lifesaving screenings.
