Congrats is due to our NAN Cincinnati Board member Bob Deitrick, co-writer of Bulls Bears and the Ballot Box was featured in an article in Forbes Magazine. Forbes produced an article which illustrates and poses the question, “Economically, Could Obama be America’s Best President? In his first 4.4 years of tenure, the answer is a compelling yes – especially when one considers the economic disaster which he inherited from President George W. Bush. Under Barack Obama, the stock market has performed better in his first term and four months than under any other President we reviewed in the past 80 years including FDR, Reagan, Clinton and Kennedy and LBJ. The average annual compound return in the major financial indices ranges 22% to 27% since President Obama took office from the lows of March, 2009 . We have gained back all of the losses of the last 17 months of the Bush administration and we accomplished this in four short years – a result which is remarkable by any standard. Hopeville Concerned Citizens are now in the Superior Court phase, NAN president Bishop Metcalff has written motions about fiduciary accountability and help them retain an attorney, presently awaiting a ruling of rightful ownership of their Community water Company. Liberating Hopeville, stopping the sale of their water co. and giving the Hopeville Community of their Water Co. and land parcels. Case no. CV2013-002997. Arizona Corporation commission has the video.

NAN Maricopa County Chapter Partnering with South West Behavioral for DUI assessments and treatment program. Unique because it is a rural area.

NAN wrote letter to Department of Justice on behalf of Mario A. Montoya Garcia A#075 281 015 who was falsely arrested and detained, court agreed and released him. This was a nationally recognized case.

Yolanda Taylor contacted NAN AZ about her son Pevielle Walton who was facing 10 years in prison, he suffers from mental health issues. NAN advocated with Mr. Walton’s counsel and the judge ruled him incompetent and put him under rule 11 and stated he would not receive prison time. Case no. CR2012-007445 his mother was very pleased.

Syracuse Chapter News
On March 12th, 2013 NAN Syracuse held an open forum entitled “Part 2 of Rebuilding Stronger Neighborhoods.” The forum was held at Living Waters Church of God in Christ located at 121 Huron St. here in Syracuse. This forum was to update the community on the progress of Price Rite Supermarket which will be located on South Ave. Also present was Bill Britton from Price Rite. This is a local initiative to provide a fresh grocery store in the community.
