NAN is dedicated to a modern civil rights agenda that includes education equality, criminal justice, anti- violence, and a standard of decency for all people. On this day in particular, NAN encourages elected officials, community activists, clergy and leaders across the country to pause and remember the example Dr. King set and the importance of his work

The King Day Public Policy forum not only celebrates Dr. King’s legacy, but provides an opportunity to focus on the work each of us does to carry on his dream.
