At the conclusion of the DC events a Caravan Rally/Modern day Freedom Ride will begin leaving from DC. Tentative stops on the journey that have been discussed include Virginia; Greensboro, NC; South Carolina; Atlanta, GA; Anniston, AL; Birmingham; and Montgomery.
The caravan will conclude upon arriving in Selma, AL Sunday March 3, 2013 in time for the Selma-to-Montgomery Bridge Crossing Jubilee events in Selma, AL.
Festivities will begin with the Jubilee Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Coretta Scott King Unity Breakfast in Selma to be followed with the 48th Anniversary of Bloody Sunday–Reenactment of 1965 March from Brown Chapel to Edmund Pettus Bridge & events at the foot of the Bridge.
Those events will be followed by a five day march leading up to a Mass Rally on the Steps of the Alabama Capitol in Montgomery Friday March 8, 2013.
