National Project Coordinator
Paul W. Persaud serves as the National Project Coordinator for the National Action Network. He is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University with a bachelor’s degree in Sports/Entertainment & Events Management. While in school, Paul wore multiple hats as Head Resident Assistant, President of Men of Distinction, Co-chair of Eta Sigma Delta Honors Society and college DJ. With over five years of experience within project and events management, Paul served as co-panel organizer along with Attorney Michael A. Hardy at NAN’s 20th Anniversary National Convention. Most recently, he took the lead on panel organization for our 14th Annual convention in Washington, DC. Paul also manages website content, Facebook, and Twitter for the organization. He has grown our social media sites from a few hundred to over 5,000 followers that continue to grow. Some of his other talents for NAN have been assisting in producing award shows, creating marketing materials, and implementing in-depth PowerPoint presentations for events and sponsors. Paul is one of the upcoming leaders within NAN. His drive and determination to reach goals is a key asset in his ability to work efficiently in this organization.
Prior to working at NAN, Paul was involved in planning Super Bowls XLV, XLIV, XLIII, XLI, as he served as a coordinator for all game day guest services and security personal. He also had a great experience serving within the College Crew Internship for Jet Blue Airlines, where he was able to work within their Corporate Social Responsibility team helping implement their annual Swing for Good Golf Tournament for special charities.
Paul has gained an interest in civil rights and the non-profit sector since he started with the National Action Network and hopes to grow with the organization. He aspires to be very successful and use his career, not only for money, but for the greater good of society and strives to impact at least one person’s life for the better.
